Foreigners entering South Korea are required to have a valid passport and a Korean visa issued by the Korean embassy or consular offices in their country. However, citizens from many countries are now permitted visa-free entry but for a limited period under certain conditions. From Tuesday 25 February 2014 the applicants residing in the following States will submit their Applications directly at The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Mumbai , India:

For applicants residing in any other part of India except Tamilnadu,Kerala,Karnataka, Puducherry, Maharashtra Goa and Gujarat,should submit application at VFS Global Korea Visa Application Centre at New Delhi and Kolkata. Application submitted at VFS Global Delhi and Kolkata Centre will be processed by Embassy of Korea,New Delhi.
